If I had to categorize it I’d say this SUV (one of the earliest) descends from the whole Jeep and Land Rover school of thinking. The 4Runner has a great “don’t mess with me” stance on the road. The Trail Premium model which I tested has a tough front fascia with a hood scoop that sets the SUV off from others. Toyota included color-keyed bumpers and overfenders, privacy glass and fog lamps to complete the look. The 4Runner comes equipped on 17 inch alloy wheels with beefy all-terrain tires. The vehicle provides great positioning for the driver with, as you’d expect, an expansive view of the road or the trail ahead. Under the hood you’ll find a powerful 4.0 liter V6 powerplant that produces 270 horsepower and 278 lb. ft. of torque// Fuel Economy (17 city/ 21 hwy) mpg// Extended Warranties, Pre-Purchase Inspection and Financing available upon customer request//**************
